Behavioral Hypotheses
The human being is to economic organization rather like the atom to physics. Unless we know or at least assume certain facts about this complex sort of atom, it would be impossible for us to begin to understand the organizations he sets up. We need to build a model of the human being in order to predict his reactions and design appropriate organizational structures. Particular attention is given to rationality, self-interest, cognitive difficulties and biological considerations.
